Martz Wholesale Cedar is owned and operated by Gregory G. Martz, Self employed for 45 years Greg was a General Contractor, till 1985, when he started Martz Wholesale Cedar.
We have a lumber yard stocking what we need to take care of our customers. located on a four acre site.

About Greg
Since starting in the lumber business in 1985 Greg has been offering a full service lumber business catering to the Siding Contractor, and General Contractor, and or individual contracting on their own.
Greg offers the service of meeting with the customer at the building project and doing a physical take off ( Measure for materials needed). Then Greg takes the lengths of the materials for siding and trims needed  into account when pulling the siding and trims for the home or project. We have no restock charge when Greg does this service, that is if there is any material left to restock.
Greg feels trying to give the customer what they need, given some limitation based on what is available of course, will save money for the customer plus end up a much nicer job. Working with the customer and or architect, builder to give the desired outcome is Greg’s goal.
Greg brings a lot of experience with him, starting out in 1968 working on large apartment complexes as a carpenter, who did the pick up (fixing the mistakes made on the job so it would pass inspection.   For the framing and finish of the projects.
Worked as an apprentice, while going to carpenter apprentice school. Greg got his journeyman carpenter card in 1971. Greg had a framing construction company Gig Construction, later in mid 70’s changed to General Contractor, Builder.
Self taught as an architect Greg drew his own plans for projects. Once in the early 80’s had the working plans (drawings) for a large home in King County Seattle building department, approved in two and one half weeks.
Greg started Martz Wholesale Cedar and Lumber Sales in 1985.
Knowing when to listen to what someone wants and trying to meet that goal, with only the customers best interest in mind is what Greg strives to achieve.
We do this at a wholesale price to the customer for the materials needed.
